We accept application forms for children when they are over the age of 18 months. We accept applications at anytime of the year and if space is not available, you will be added to a waiting list.
Our Admissions Policy states that places are allocated in order of date of birth, not in order of receipt of application.
This application places your child on our waiting list. Please note that completion of this form does not guarantee a place for your child. Please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any further queries and we look forward to receiving your application.
Foundry Lane Community Playgroup are a data controller for the purposes of Data Protection. We collect information from you and may receive information about you from your previous Early Years Provider or education provider, local authorities and the Department for Education (DfE).
Terms & Conditions
Once your child is offered a place and you accept it, we will require further information for our records. Your child’s birth certificate is required at this point with a copy made for our file. If you find that you no longer need the place, please inform us as soon as possible.
All children are eligible for 15 hours funded pre-school sessions from the term after their 3rd birthday. We may not be able to offer your child the full 15 hours at Foundry Lane Playgroup. The number of sessions allocated to each child depends on age and availability. (Please see our Admissions Policy for more details). You are entitled to seek the remaining funded sessions elsewhere if you wish.
Please see below for details of when your child can receive funded sessions from. We have one morning and one afternoon session each day from Monday to Friday and when allocating sessions we do aim to offer your child the most convenient sessions to you.
Please note that due to the high demand for places at Foundry Lane Playgroup, we cannot guarantee your child a place. As such we would strongly recommend that you also apply elsewhere.
A place at Foundry Lane Playgroup does not automatically entitle your child a place at Foundry Lane Primary School as we are a separate charity and the Local Education Authority deals with school places.
If we contact you with an offer of a place for your child, we will require a copy of your child’s Birth Certificate.
Funded and Non-Funded Sessions
15 hours Government funded sessions are available from the term after your child’s 3rd birthday. We accept the 30 hours funding. More information is available on the government website www.gov.uk.
Please note however that although your child may be eligible for free sessions there is no guarantee that sessions will be available at these times.
